For healthcare professionals

Ask your patient to keep a diary

And get it back as a structured summary, not a folded sheet of paper.

BeDRY is a free bladder and stool diary for families. They record at home, the app calculates the standard diary measurements, and they share the summary with you — by email address or by your BeDRY username. Nothing to install on your side, and nothing for the family to pay.

Built by a pediatric nephrologist · Hosted in the EU
A shared BeDRY diary summary as a clinician sees it, listing expected bladder capacity, maximum voided volume, nocturnal diuresis, fluid intake and overactivity index
Three steps

How it works in a consultation

The whole point is that it survives the walk from your room to the front door.

1

Create your username

Sign in to the BeDRY web app (https://bedry.app) and set a username in settings. Patients enter that instead of your email address, so you never hand out a personal address in a consultation.

2

Write it in the record, or hand over the card

Wording you can paste into a note or discharge letter:

English Please keep a bladder and stool diary for two days and three nights using the free BeDRY app (home.bedry.app), and share the summary with <username>. For bowel habits, continue recording stool for seven days.
Hrvatski Molim učiniti dnevnik mokrenja i pijenja kroz dva dana i tri noći putem besplatne aplikacije BeDRY (home.bedry.app) i podijeliti ga s <korisničko ime>. Za crijevne navike nastaviti bilježiti stolicu sedam dana.
3

The summary arrives

You are notified by email and the diary appears in the list of diaries shared with you — same layout, same units, every patient. The family keeps control and can stop sharing at any time.

The card to hand over

Print this and keep a stack on the desk. It is the shortest path from “keep a diary” to a diary that actually arrives.

Your doctor asked you to keep a bladder diary

Start here — it is free

Record drinking, urination and stool for two days and three nights. The app does the rest, and you can share the summary straight back with your doctor.

BeDRY grew out of clinical practice at Children’s Hospital Zagreb. If something is missing for the way you work, say so — that is how most of it was built.
