BeDRY is for young people and parents who want to understand their own or their child’s urination, drinking and bowel habits better — especially when there is bedwetting, daytime leaking, urgency or frequent urination.
You can use it in two ways: as a free bladder and stool diary only, or as help in building healthier habits and better bladder control with the Bladder Habit Builder pack.
Step 1 — create a profile
After installing BeDRY, create a profile. Details such as age are needed so that the app can assess the diary data correctly and show age-appropriate information. You can create a profile for yourself or for a child in your care. There is no limit on the number of profiles.
From there you can go straight to whichever path you need.
Step 2 — if you only need a diary, start free
If your doctor has recommended a bladder diary, or you simply want to see how your child drinks and urinates during the day, open the Diary.
Record:
- the time and volume of each urination
- what and how much your child drinks
- leaks
- bowel movements and their appearance
- bedwetting and overnight urine production
For a reliable assessment of the bladder, keep the diary for at least 2 days and 3 nights. Assessing bowel habits takes 7 days.
Once you have collected enough data, BeDRY produces a summary automatically. You can review it in the app or share it with a doctor. To share it, you need the email address or username of the person you are sharing it with.
The diary and the automatic summary are free, with no limit on use.
Step 3 — if you want to understand your bladder’s needs and improve its habits and control, open Coach
You do not need a completed diary to use the initial bladder training plan.
In Coach you can activate the Bladder Habit Builder pack and get an initial training plan for healthier urination and drinking habits straight away.
The plan contains practical steps that children and parents can carry out at home: an age-appropriate urination interval, a recommended daily fluid intake, and a drinking schedule.
Step 4 — keep a diary so the plan can be updated to your bladder’s needs
You can use the initial plan immediately, but the diary gives BeDRY far more information about the habits that are actually recorded.
After at least 2 days and 3 nights of diary data you can:
- use Checkpoint to understand urination patterns, your bladder’s needs and the areas that need attention;
- use Coach to update the training plan according to the recorded habits and bladder needs;
- use Trends to follow how the habits change over time.
The diary is then not only a record of what happened — its data becomes practical guidance for improving bladder control.
Step 5 — do not expect change overnight
Bladder habits develop gradually. What matters most is that the recommended routines become part of everyday life.
To follow progress and see whether the habits are taking hold, repeat the diary every 1–3 months. New data lets you compare results, track changes and update the training plan as needed.
So what is your next step?
Just need a diary?
Start recording urination, drinking and bowel habits. After 2 days and 3 nights you will get an automatic summary you can share with your doctor.
Want to work on bladder habits?
Open Coach and start with the initial plan. You can keep the diary afterwards, to understand the bladder’s habits better and update the plan with measured data.
Already finished a diary?
Review the results, open Checkpoint and update your training plan.
BeDRY is designed so that you do not have to do everything at once. Start with what you need now, and take the next step when you are ready.
